Victor's Lists is built for families of children with special needs — a community whose members rely on accessible technology every day. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA and to comply with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Tools available on every page
Look for the accessibility button in the bottom-right corner (or press Alt + U). It provides:
- One-click profiles: Dyslexia friendly, ADHD focus, Seizure safe, Vision impaired, Cognitive, Color blind
- Text size, spacing, and font (including a dyslexic-friendly typeface)
- Contrast and saturation adjustments, including dark mode and monochrome
- Reading guide, reading mask, link and heading highlighting
- Big cursor, pause-motion, and hide-images toggles
- Text-to-speech "Read page aloud" with voice and speed controls
- Print-friendly version of every page

IDEA alignment
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) guarantees a free appropriate public education to eligible children with disabilities. While IDEA governs schools rather than websites, Victor's Lists supports families exercising IDEA rights by:
- Curating IEP, evaluation, and advocacy resources in plain language
- Surfacing providers who accept IEP referrals and school-based services
- Publishing this directory in formats compatible with assistive technology
- Keeping recommendations community-sourced and free of pay-to-play placement
